Preparation of a feasibility study with subsequent basic engineering (+- 10% cost estimation) for a polymer plant. Two existing sites were analyzed partially with on-site surveys.

During the on-site surveys, corresponding tie-in points for existing utilities were clarified and labeled together with the operator in order to guarantee a subsequent switch-over without an interruption of normal operation.

In addition to profitability calculations done by the client, possible future expandability was also taken into account.

Protection of the existing facilities during an expansion as well as the changed seismic classification in Italy had to be taken into consideration.

Simultaneously further expansion projects were being realized on site, which required close coordination with regards to available resources.
